Flu season is here. The Government is advising a vaccine with 4 types of influenza virus to be given to all over age 65, pregnant women, asthmatics, diabetics, and those with kidney disease.
Influenza is a major cause of illness in the winter. Healthy adults get sick and lose time off work, and play! Some of those people will have further complications of pneumonia, thyroiditis and fatigue.
We will also be vaccinating our patients who don’t qualify for a free vaccine, however you will need to get a prescription and purchase the vaccine.
